Kidzania Manila Opening this November!

Alrighty, I admit, I sometimes still feel like a kid (inside). Haha You know, less serious in life, procrastinate all day, less commitments so less problems. But then again, we should always face reality straight up; paying bills, cook your own food, and be selfless for your family. Being a kid is sometimes a vision we all want to go back to. But there is a place that does the total opposite of that, kid being an adult, doing adult things, earning their own money, which is I’m all for it, it’s good for kids to know the value of money as young as possible.

The place is called Kidzania. It started in Mexico, and now scattered around the globe in 14 countries, now including Philippines! This November, they will open this theme park in Bonifacio Global City.

“KidZania provides children and their parents a safe, unique, and very realistic educational environment that allows kids between the ages of four to fourteen to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally adult activities. As in the real world, children perform “jobs” and are either paid for their work (as a fireman, doctor, police officer, journalist, shopkeeper, etc.) or pay to shop or to be entertained. The indoor theme park is a city built to scale for children, complete with buildings, paved streets, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognizable destinations in the form of “establishments” sponsored and branded by leading multi-national and local brands.”

So it is a mini city, for kids, and to their scale. Adults are not allowed inside. YES. You read that right. Only children ages between 4-14 years old are allowed.
